Our director, Roberto Stivali
From a love of music to meeting our choir

Roberto Stivali graduated with distinction in oboe from the Latina Conservatory.
He has played more than 1,000 concerts in Italy and abroad, as a soloist and as principal oboe with many orchestras, including the "Orchestra Nuovaklassica", "Accademia Filarmonica Europea", "Orchestra Sinfonica di Latina", "Collegium Musicum", "Orchestra delle Cento Città", "Camerata Barocca", "Orchestra del Conservatorio di Latina", "Concerto Italiano", "Orchestra da Camera del Lazio", "Orchestra Sinfonica Verulana", "Praeludium Ensemble", "Orchestra Caetani", "Orchestra Internazionale di Roma", "Orchestra Latina Lirica", "Orchestra Nova Amadeus", "Orchestra I Solisti dell'Opera", "Latina Philharmonia", "Orchestra Circolo dè Musici" and the "Banda della Polizia Municipale" of Rome.
He has won chamber music competitions in Matera, Sezze, Bellante, Segni and elsewhere.
He began directing choirs at the age of sixteen with the "Corale Santissima Annunziata" of Norma (LT), giving several concerts while directing both choir and orchestra at the same time. He has also directed the "San Marco" choir of Latina, the "Coro dell'Abbazia di Valvisciolo", the "Collegium Vocale Tifernum" choir of Città di Castello, and the "Camerata Barocca", "Praeludium Ensemble", "Musici Lirienses" and "Latina Philharmonia" orchestras.
His deep love of Alpine songs, his sensitivity, his human qualities and his artistic skill brought him, in 2011, to Coro ANA Latina, where he has played a key role in strengthening the true "Alpine spirit" that is the heart of every A.N.A. choir.
In June 2013 he led the choir to the "Audience Trophy" Special Prize at the Ardea Choral Competition, where he also won the "Special Jury Prize" for best director.
